Located in the heart of New York City, the NY Eta chapter is made up of amazingly smart and unique women who are committed to making a difference in our NYU and NYC communities.

Through working with the Champions Are Readers and Story Pirates programs, our chapter impacts the lives of countless students in the NYC public school system to share our love and dedication to our philanthropy, literacy. Our strive for change, though, does not stop there. NY Eta also fundraises for organizations such as the B+ Foundation, fighting to end childhood cancer, and numerous non-profits in and around NYC. 

Through events such as Arrowjam (a lip sync battle open to any club or team on campus), formal events, and other joint philanthropy events, NY Eta’s goal is to help this big city feel like home. Our sisters are strong, powerful women from all around the globe who truly want to see change and bring our respective communities closer together— and I can’t wait to help pave the way to that goal this year!
