Pi Beta Phi
Chapter Leadership
A note from our Vice President of Event Planning

To me, chapter leadership means taking care of each and every member while making sure all of them have fun, foster meaningful relationships, and give back to the community. The chapter wouldn’t be able to run without our committees and chairs. Each woman is part of a committee each semester, and the help and support they provide Exec is immeasurable. This year, I’m the VP of Event Planning, so I plan all the social events for NY Eta! I’m so excited to work with the Social Chairs, Apparel Chairs, and Greek Week Chairs to make this year one to remember. The opportunity I’ve had to serve these amazing women in various positions is a priceless one, and, while the leadership positions I've held are very different, I have loved every minute of them!

Having responsibility in the chapter is super rewarding. I love putting in work to plan events that active members of the chapter get to enjoy. While the majority of moments in college have been overwhelmingly great, much thanks to Pi Phi, I came to NYU from Houston, TX, and the transition into college so far from home was difficult. Pi Phi has served as a safe haven where I am constantly surrounded by such loving and empowering sisters, and it has been since the day I joined. The more I’ve gotten involved, the more rewarding my entire experience in this organization, and in college as a whole, has been. Overall, I would absolutely say being an involved member of NY Eta Pi Beta Phi has given me friendships that will last a lifetime, experiences I will never forget, and a place to call home so far away from my own.
